At 66 cm high and sporting a 14" diameter, the Toca TF2DJ Freestyle II Rope Tuned Djembe Spirit 14 is a rather large djembe. With a shell made of synthetic materials, it's lighter in weight than a wooden djembe would be and is highly resistant to sudden changes in temperature and humidity. The same goes for the synthetic 14" drumhead, which won't stretch or dry out. Furthermore, the rope that keeps tension on the head is woven around the shell in a traditional fashion. The finish, with its reds, yellows and greens, was given the name Spirit, which references the Rastafari movement that often uses those same colours.

As this djemeb is resistant to changes in temperature and humidity, it's great for playing outdoors! Of course, if you're going to do that, you might want to have a proper bag for it, and luckily, there's one with a matching print included with this djembe. It also has a handy shoulder strap attached to it, and a little pocket on the front for various accessories. Finally, to make sure your djembe stays firmly in place, it has a durable anti-slip rubber base.
